School Visits

The rail industry has a number of school presenters provided by Network Rail and British Transport Police.

If your school or organisation is near a railway line you can apply for a visit from a presenter. Find out more here

Trackoff Resource Centre

The Trackoff resource centre provides you with free teaching resources to help educate children and teenagers about safe conduct on the railway.

The resources have been validated by a panel of teachers and education consultants to suit the English, Welsh and Scottish Curricula.

You can browse and download the resources, and also give us your feedback by rating the resources online.

View Pack Trespass & vandalism

‘Trespass & vandalism’ is a teaching pack that looks at the dangers from some of the most common types of railway crime: throwing stones at trains, vandalising property and taking shortcuts on the track. The pack also invites students to consider how having a criminal record would impact on their future.
